Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Perhaps he saw something in her that he thought would be great for his team and not knowing something about a particular area doesn’t mean she didn’t took the time to learn although that could really be a challenge. #BTA603 Shine

Ironic that he did the opposite of his advice at around 9:00 by hiring Ms. Coleman as a manager into manufacturing which she had no experience with. He just finished saying not to hire professional managers because they don’t know how to do anything. Then, why hire someone who knows nothing about the area they are hired for? Will their employees be able to learn from them? Bogus advice. It’s really about the individual and sometimes you need new blood that knows how to manage. His comments about the lead technical person becoming the best managers is nonsense as well. I’ve seen it work less often than more. Technical leads often are not equipped to negotiate and form bonds with other departments which is necessary in this day and age. This particular advice is outdated.

Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and Warren Buffett — all billionaires many times
over — are regarded as saints by American media. Which is simply sign
of how little anybody knows anymore about true sainthood.

The question before number 8 at 12:55 I can’t tell what he says.

    „Mr Jobs your a bright and ___?____ man…“
„add and clear that on several accounts you’ve discussed you don’t know what you are talking about… I would like for example for you to discuss in clear terms how say Java in any of its incarnations addresses the idea ________????_________ and opened up…“
